about the artist

Hello! I am Brooke, a printmaker and paper cut artist born and raised, and now raising my family in the Pacific Northwest. In school I studied to be an archeologist - a profession that taught me to pay close attention and record the wonders of the world around us. Through my artwork I strive to evoke the feeling of awe we experience when we really notice the natural world. When I’m not working in the studio you can find me out roaming the trails with my dog, or digging in the garden. It’s a good life!
