Pacific northwest prints and papercuts

about the artist

Hello! I’m Brooke — a printmaker and paper cut artist, born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, where I’m now raising my own family. This region’s wild coastlines, forests, and open spaces have been a constant source of inspiration for me.

Over 20 years ago, while working as an archeologist for the National Park Service I learned to slow down, observe the world around me, and record my surroundings in field notebooks. A life-long love of capturing the environment around me through art was born.

That sense of attention and wonder continues to shape my artwork. Through each piece I hope to capture the incredible feeling of awe when you have a cool wildlife encounter, or you are stunned by the beauty of a Pacific Northwest landscape— those small powerful moments when we truly notice the natural world, and that help us remember we’re a part of it too.
